June Macasaet
With outstanding personality and commendable modeling experience, our very own Manhunt International Philippines 2012 - June Macasaet is ready to conquer the world this November! He will be the official representative of the country in the largest and oldest prestigious pageant for men in the world today, the Manhunt International. More than 6o countries will convene in Bangkok, Thailand this November 1 to 11, 2012. The final night will be on November 9 in Scala Theatre, Siam Square, Bangkok.
During the send off party and press conference held in Shots Bar WhereYouWant, June said “I’m very much honored to represent the country and I will do my best to shine this November!” It has been my dream to represent the country since I started my career as model. And now here I am.. still can’t believe that will be carrying the Philippine flag in Bangkok!
Present during the press presentations were Manhunt Philippines 2012 runners up, Manhunt Philippines National director Mervin Alvaran, former Manhunt Philippines and Shots bar owner Carlo Morris Galang aka Rain Javier and members of the press.
During the Manhunt Finals in Bangkok, the contestants will be judged in national costumes, Swimwear, Photographic and Eveningwear segments. The winner will receive $10K, $25K GC and over 40K other prizes from sponsors.
Pageant fans were included in designing June’s National Costume through “Design Manhunt Philippines National Costume Project”. Two designs of Phil Gadin with Sarimanok and Colors of Vintas were the inspiration of June’s national costume. Aside from his wardrobe preparations, June is also preparing mentally, physically and spiritually through series of engagements, from catwalk to personality development.
Aside from the support of Filipino community in Thailand, June will be accompanied by Mervin, the national director of Manhunt and official photographer Aski Pascual to provide and bring the best coverage of the events in the country. June will be leaving on November 1 via Philippine Airlines. Good luck June and bring home the bacon!
