FILIPINO-SWISS Marlon Stockinger won the second round of the Monaco GP3 race at the French Riviera in Monaco Saturday.
Stockinger kept his composure in 14 laps and posted a time of 21:37.673. Finishing second is Antonio Felix Da Costa of Carlin Motorsport.
Stockinger finished the race ahead of Da Costa by 0.687 seconds according to reports posted on F1 race website motorsports.com.
Daniel Abt finished third ahead of Mitch Evans, David Fumanelli and Kevin Ceccon.
The son of Swiss businessman Tom Stockinger and Filipina Egin San Pedro, Stockinger, 21, was born in Manila.
Round three of the race will be held in Valencia on June 22 to 24.
Stockinger is identified as Filipino, as the country's flag was raised and the "Lupang Hinirang" was played during the awarding ceremony.
