COMEDIAN Vice Ganda joins the league of Lea Salonga, Charice Pempengco, Diether Ocampo and Michael V — Filipino celebrity who made it on the cover of Readers Digest Asia. Vice Ganda, who’s in the September issue (on Pinoy humor) says he’s been a long-time fan of the international magazine and clips the Quotable Quotes page.
A story about the rise of Vice Ganda as a comedian will be featured in the September edition of Reader’s Digest Asia.
Needless to say, the comedian is elated over this new career milestone.
“Nakakatuwa. Nakaka-flatter. Sobrang blessing na naman ito,” the resident judge of “Showtime” said on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” June 24.
With the interview already done, Vice Ganda is poised to do the photo shoot next week.
The stand-up comedian couldn’t believe that he will be featured in the said international magazine.
The Reader’s Digest feature comes on the heels of his sold out concert at the Araneta Coliseum. Vice is shooting his movie, “Petrang Kabayo,” a remake of the classic Roderick Paulate starrer, which is bound to launch him to solo stardom.
Vice Ganda is also set to conquer the recording scene. He’s busy compiling songs for his debut album.
